The Technical Committee of the 2024 Barnes Saudi Padel League has announced its decision regarding the request submitted by “Padel Art” Club to join the league’s Women’s category. This request was forwarded to the committee by the Saudi Padel, based on the club’s submission.

According to the official procedures, the draw for the Women’s category of the Barnes Saudi Padel League was held on November 14, 2024, and participating clubs were informed to submit their team rosters, which include the names of players, coaches, and administrators, by November 13, 2024, to ensure proper organization.

The Saudi Padel Committee announces its decision following a comprehensive review of the report issued by the Ministry of Sports, represented by the Licensing Department, after the inspection visit conducted at the “Padel Balance” Club.

The report submitted by the Licensing Department indicated a change in the club’s activity, and the club proactively submitted a request to the Ministry of Sports to cancel its membership with the Saudi Padel Committee.

Based on the information provided by the Licensing Department and the decision of the Saudi Padel Committee, reference number “4-126,” dated 7/11/2024, the club’s membership with the Saudi Padel Committee has been officially canceled.

As a result, the committee announces the exclusion of the club from participating in the 2024 Barnes Saudi Padel League.

In line with its commitment to enhance sports competition in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the committee is pleased to announce the inclusion of Padel Bull Club, according to its ranking and points from the final qualifiers of the Eastern Region clubs, held from May 23-25, 2024, which qualified the club to participate in the final round as the second-best team.

Finally, the Saudi Padel Committee reaffirms its commitment to supporting and developing the sport of padel in the Kingdom in accordance with the highest standards, working diligently to ensure that all clubs adhere to its regulations and systems, preserving a competitive and honorable sports level.

 Saudi Padel Committee Organizes Youth Empowerment Event to Promote Padel Sport in “Arab Youth Empowerment” Program** Riyadh – November 3, 2024

As part of its efforts to boost youth engagement in sports, the Saudi Padel Committee, in collaboration with the Youth Activities Department at the Ministry of Sports, organized an engaging and educational padel event. Held as part of the “Arab Youth Empowerment” program, the event aimed to introduce padel to participating delegations and encourage them to embrace this rapidly growing sport both locally and globally. National coach Abdullah Al-Basiri, alongside player Lina Al-Humaidi and player Abdulrahman Al-Azzam, joined the Saudi Padel Committee team to lead the activities. Participants showed great enthusiasm, engaging with a series of educational demonstrations and hands-on field exercises designed for all age groups and both genders. Successful Conclusion of the Padel Competitions at the 2024 Saudi Games

The padel competitions at the 2024 Saudi Games have concluded successfully, filled with excitement and fierce competition. Both male and female players showcased their skills and determination throughout the tournament.

In the women’s category, Areej Farah and Fatima Al-Nabhani emerged victorious, claiming the gold medal. Gabriela Andrade and Sarah Salhab secured the silver, while Maria Santos and Samaher Kurdi proudly took home the bronze.

In the men’s category, the gold medal was won by Abdulrahman Al-Azzam and Qasem Al-Obaidan. The silver went to Satam Al-Shahrani and Omar Al-Thaqib, and Ali Dawani and Hassan Al-Abdullah earned the bronze.

Padel Champions Qualified for the Final Trials in the Saudi Games Are Ready for the Challenge.

The Qualifiers for the Saudi Games 2024 concluded successfully, resulting in the qualification of 10 men’s teams (20 players) and 10 women’s teams (20 players) for the final of the Saudi Games 2024.

The Qualifiers saw wide participation, with 182 men’s teams (364 players) and 29 women’s teams (58 players) registered, reflecting the significant interest in these competitions and the thorough preparation by participants.

The qualified teams will compete in the finals of the Saudi Games, where they aim for the grand prize of 1 million Saudi Riyals. We wish the qualified teams the best of luck on their journey toward the title.

The tournament saw a total of 222 male players, 40 female players, and 36 junior players, reflecting the growing interest in this sport. The event hosted 148 matches across all categories, adding a strong competitive spirit to the tournament.

In the men’s category, Faisal Al-Rubdi and Abdullah Al-Abdullah clinched first place with an impressive performance, while Abdulrahman Al-Azzam and Qasim Al-Obidan secured second place.

In the women’s category, Areej Farah and Iman Metwali took first place, followed by Al-Anoud Yamani and Najwa Salhab in second.

In the junior category, Sultan Al-Turki and Nawaf Al-Qadi achieved first place, with Raed Al-Abd Al-Baqi and Mohammed Al-Mulhim coming in second.

The Saudi Padel Committee has announced the date of the 4th ranking tournament for this season, open to all categories: Men, Women, and Juniors, taking place from August 29 to 31 in Riyadh. This tournament is part of ongoing efforts to develop and empower players not affiliated with clubs to participate in professional competitions, enhancing their competitive skills and promoting padel as a growing sport both locally and internationally.

Ranking tournaments are a fundamental pillar in the development of the sport, as they contribute to fairly ranking players each season, motivating them to compete and improve their performance. These tournaments also help discover promising talents across all age groups who may represent the Kingdom in international arenas in the future. This particular tournament holds special significance due to the rapid growth of padel in the Kingdom and the increasing number of participants from various age groups.

The tournament is expected to witness wide participation from the top padel players in the Kingdom, adding excitement to the competitions and enhancing the quality of the matches.
